So you get the right sized tent for your event.
Flexi tents can be set up almost anywhere.
Different looks and functions.
Or attached to an existing feature.
Stretch tents & marquees are temporary or semi-permanent structures, made from flexible yet waterproof high-tech fabric.
They are commonly referred to as 'Stretch Tents' and occasionally as 'Stretch Marquees' 'Freeform', 'Bedouin' or 'Nomadic' tents. These terms point to their African origin, where our tents are still manufactured.
Our modern stretch tent is a completely new and innovative tent system. They can be installed freestanding, held up by internal poles, or partly attached to existing structures. Integration into an existing framework provided by buildings and gardens is one of the many unrivalled strengths of this tent system.
A stretch marquee can be as varied as your event, large or small, elegant or relaxed.
One of the many great features of the FlexiTenz stretch marquees is the option to connect several tents together. Due to this unique, yet simple system, we can easily create a large covered space for hundreds of people, or an intimate space for a few. We can even seamlessly work our tents around corners.
The tents can be pitched to suit your event's site. The easiest places to pitch stretch marquees are flat, unsealed areas, where we can drive anchor pegs in the ground. In the urban environment however, where driving pegs is not possible, we use anchor blocks.
The stretch tents flexible design means they can be set up on uneven terrain, unlike traditional marquees.
By using a variation of pole length, we can create a great looking installation on uneven terrain e.g. the stretch tents might reach over part of a planted garden or incorporate several levels of a terraced garden.
The stretchy nature of the fabric allows for almost limitless flexibility in configurations to cater for your event's requirements.
The tent's fabric is constructed in 2 or 3 layers. It can be either translucent or block out, and comes in a variety of colours. It is fully waterproof and its organic texture and enormous flexibility give it unrivalled appeal. It has been engineered to withstand storm winds, thus making it one of the strongest temporary structures available.
Our stretch tents conform to all the New Zealand's building and fire retardancy standards. For structures over 100m², we provide engineering design calculations and obtain building consent from local authority.
